Wordless Wednesday

Someone is ready for Christmas. I just wish I could say the same thing for myself.

Visiting the Zoo

We took Boll Weevil to the zoo for the second time. He was only a 2 months old the last time we went. Let me just tell you that he loved it. He took in everything. I know that this will be one of many visits to the zoo.

Alot of Excitment

A lot of things have happened since I last blogged:As you can see from this picture Boll Weevil is now into everything. He is still crawling a lot faster than he his walking, but he does have his first steps under his belt.

Boll Weevil has had his first Thanksgiving and he loves turkey and dressing/stuffing.

He also had his first trip to the ER - ear infections and high fever in the middle of the night are no fun for anyone in the family.

The biggest news of all is starting at the new year I'm going to be a stay at home mom. I am so excited about this. Bo and I have gone back and forth on this issue so many times. Finally we decided to give it completely to God, and funny how everything fell into place for me to stop working at this time in our lives. Bo and I are both looking forward to this. I know this transition will come with its own set of challenges, but I don't want to look back when I'm old and grey and say it is something I wish I would have done.

So is there anything new going on in your life?

Happy Anniversary!

My parents celebrate 37 years together this month!! Wow! 37 years seems like a lifetime together. I'm so glad that they are still married, but I realize from them that marriage has its ups and downs. If you work around these bad spots you will have a life long partner. I hope that my marriage last 37 years. Love you Mom and Dad.
- This was the most recent picture I could find of my parents and I together. Most of my pictures are of my nephew, niece or my baby.

Three Things

1. The Time Change is making me tired.

2. Boll Weevill teething is making me tired.

3. I really really enjoyed my Sewing Saturday with my mom. We had so much fun! We also got 9 button holes put in and 42 snaps put in several outfits for Boll Weevil. Now I have to sew the buttons on. Hopefully, I can get them on and have him model them soon.

My Review of Furry Puppy

He followed me home...can I keep him? Little ones love romping around in our baby dog costume with shaggy tail and attached floppy-eared hood. Made of incredibly soft "eyelash fur." Shown here with our best-selling Velour Soft Shoes (sold separately). Imported.

Great Costume

5out of 5

Pros: Quality Construction, Original, Durable, Attractive Design, Lots of Fun

Cons: Poor Construction

Best Uses: Imaginative Play, Young Children

Describe Yourself: Working Parent, First Time Parent

Was this a gift?: No

This was my sons first Halloween Costume. We got tons of compliments on it, especially for its orginality. My one complaint was that the velcro at the top keep on rubbing my sons chin. We had an especially warm Halloween so he did get hot in this costume.

Wind Storm

This is what Bo and I came home to last night. I guess we had a bad wind storm at our house while we were at work. It took Bo about a half hour to get this down.

Just another angle.

This is really not what you want to pull into your driveway and see. I have a entire weekend of sewing planned. I hope that means I'll have lots of things to post next week.

Happy Belated Halloween

Over the last week my child has been sick 5 of the last seven days. Not much has gotten done, but taking care of him.

We did squeeze in a little trunk or treating at church. We had us one of the cutest puppy dogs I have ever seen.

Our family with our car. Next year I hope to have a better theme.
