All these seeds came out of the six pumpkins
I cleaned them and roasted them.
They have tasted great.

Pumpkins
I got 6 cups of pumpkin filling.
Boo went to the pumpkin patch at his school and he had to buy 2 pumpkins. And his school had bunch left over so they passed them out for free one day. I got 2 extras. I told the lady who was passing them out that I would roast them. She said no they are for decorating not roasting. She was wrong they were great for roasting.I cut off the stem and then I cut it in half and scooped out the seeds.
Roasted for 30min at 375.

We Have The Flu
Or should I say as of right now Boo has the flu. NO! we didn't get a flu shot- we opted out.
Boo wasn't felling good at all, he brought me the camera and wanted his picture taken.
I don't know why, but it made him happy for a moment.
Hoping to get all the germs out of my house soon.

I am a member of a local mom's group and a few weeks ago we had a themed table meeting.
My tables them was PB&J. Every thing on our table was made with both.
Lets just say it was some very interesting food.

Mom Needs a Costume
I got this Thomas costume last year at 90% off at Target, but it just looked kind of flat.
What I used for stuffing.
I only needed a small opening to stuff the bottom.
Just this little bit of stuffing helped the entire thing puff out better.
This is the best picture of me in the costume.
Bo was Sir Topham Hatt, I was Thomas, and Boo was the engineer.
I love going in family themed costumes.
Time to start thinking about next years costumes.

Happy Halloween
Sorry, it has been so long between post but we are still battling sickness.
We did get to make it out for Halloween.
We had one cute train engineer.
This had to be one of the easiest costumes.
Boo hates wearing hats and this one was to big, but he tried to keep it on all night until it keep on falling down in his eyes and we took it off.
I hope everyone had a safe Halloween.

Pumpkin Outfit
Boo was tired of getting his picture taken but this was the best one I got of the outfit.
I made this last week before I got to sick. Everything was made from my stash so no cost.
Next time I will make the shorts shorter and the shirt longer.
He was just so happy to be home from a long weekend with his grandmother.

Farm City
We went to a fun free event in our area.
It was an amazing farm open to the city to have a taste of the country.
Our Friends watching the roping cowboy.
Rope tricks
Boo just couldn't make it to the end of the event without a little nap.

Christmas ornatments
This is what I imagined my ornaments would look like. Cute. Simple. Something my aunts would enjoy.
These are what Boo made. After I painted his hand and realized he wasn't going to cooperate, I let him paint whatever he wanted. He controlled the brush and I held the ornament.
I hope my aunts still like them even if they aren't what I imagined.
This one is for Aunt B- I call it "Woolly Mammoth in Snow".
This one is for Aunt M. I call it "Snow Angel".
This one is for Aunt C - I call it "Snowstorm".
Boo did use the paint on his hand to paint this ornament so at least the paint didn't go to waste.

BabyCakesNYC
Since going gluten free it has been so hard to have dessert. Lucky for us Downtown Disney has a BabyCakes NYC. WOW! these desserts are super duper yummy! We will make time to visit them each time we are at Disney. We bought a lot of stuff that could be frozen and put it in the cooler for the ride home. It has been so much fun taking it out and eating it. Like we brought home a little bit of vacation.

Affection Section = Petting Zoo
Boo was so funny with the pigs. He told them to get up and when they didn't he tried to sit on one of them . We are working on getting along with animals. He loves them but sometimes he loves them to much.
Checking out the sheep and goats. They were taking a break to eat.Tuesday, October 15, 2013
Bird Show Volunteeer
I have so much fun at Animal Kingdom and this year I got to be the audience volunteer. The only problem is I don't really like birds and I was in the middle of a bird show. The owl flew so close to the top of my head it felt like he was going to land on it. The good part was I got to meet Donna Sue and Guano Joe.

Going for a ride
Boo loves the transportation options a Disney World
He rode the monorail with his Pa.
He also got to stand and hold the rail on the Disney Bus. Which he thought was so much fun.
We also got to ride a boat.

Boo Meets The Beast
Boo hates ALL Characters except one - The BEAST. We got to enjoy dinner at Be Our Guest and Boo loved it when the Beast would come by our table. We figured out that the Beast head is more in portion to his body than other characters.

Pirate Day + Free Doughnuts
Krispy Kreme had a wonderful promotion yesterday on Talk Like A Pirate Day! Bo didn't understand a first what we got for dressing like pirates, but once he figured out it was a dozen doughnuts he was up in the attic digging around for an old Pirate costume.
You only had to wear 3 pirate items to count. We both made it even though Bo was more like a Jimmy Buffet pirate rather than a real pirate.Fascinated by the doughnut making process. We had to watch for a long time.
We couldn't find a parrot but we did find a first Mate. Boo didn't have as much fun as Bo and I did. Since we are eating gluten free these doughnut went to Bo's co-workers to enjoy.

Best Green Beans EVER - Super Easy
I got this recipe from my former boss who got it from this girl I used to go to church with - so in no way is this an original recipe, but it is one of my favorites.
2 cans of green beans drained
1 bottle of Ken's Sun-dried Tomato Dressing
1 container of Feta Cheese
Soak the green beans in the dressing for several hours.
Before baking top with Feta Cheese and bake for about 20-30 min at 350.
That is it! They are wonderful!
I will say I have made them in a crock pot for a church function (different church) and the older woman are now making it in their circle, but they have assured me that they won't bring it to any church functions that this will be my assigned dish for covered dish meals. This just made me laugh! I all I could think about was showing up to a covered dish meal with 15 different making the same thing.

Mickey and Minnie
Boo - Day 1 at Disney World. I have a matching skirt and red shirt. Bo will just wear a red shirt.
Boo- Day 2 at Magic Kingdom. Bo and I will not match Boo, but we will match each other. Our Halloween costumes last year were made out of this fabric and I had wanted to get something else this year, but Boo told me he loved this fabric so we have it in shorts this year.Minnie Mouse shirt for Gran and Cousin. I don't know which one of them is more excited about matching that day. Cousin had to try her outfit on as soon as I gave it to her, and it fit perfect. Always a good thing when making something for someone who doesn't live with you.
