Big Project

Boo has outgrown his crib and we got a single size bed to put in his room.  But we weren't ready to change the theme/re-paint his room so I had to figure out a way to incorporate new bedding with the old theme without breaking the bank.  Pottery Barn was out of the question, and pirates were a little older than I wanted him to have so my sewing skills came into play. 

 I think Boo likes his quilt. He was so happy when I put it on his bed.  He actually "helped" me make it.

 First time to lay on it.  The bobber block that he is touching is made with minky dot fabric - oh so soft.

I'm glad Boo LOVES it so much but I don't think I'll be making another one anytime in the future.
