Saturday Happenings

I have been productive today. I finished 5 pairs of pants for Nephew, and cut out Bo's Halloween costume. I hope to have it finished by Friday. Wish me luck!

Part of a Pirate

Halloween is coming quicker than I would like. Last night I finished Nephew's head scarf and pants. Well, the pants are sort of finished - I think the elastic in the waist will be to big for Nephew - so my mother has agreed to try them on him for a fitting and then she will finish the elastic and the waistband. Tonight, I must finish the shirt and the belt. I think Nephew will be an adorable Pirate.

Sorry It's Been So Long

Saturday, I went home to see my family. I took my sewing machine with me to work on Nephew's pants. He was fascinated by my sewing machine. I let him sit in my lap and press the needle up-down button and the scissor button several times. He loved it! My mom told him that she would teach him to sew when he got older. My mother made sure that my brother knew the basics of sewing, and he has used that skill to mend his clothes when necessary.

Bo and I went to a Fall Farm Party with our church today. We got to decorate pumpkins. These are the pumpkins I decorated. I call them the BOO Family!
